Dust and mould really can have a negative effect on health especially if you are already affected by breathing problems or allergies.

Dust can harbour all kinds of toxins, so keep electrical appliances like TV and computer screens regularly cleaned. Use a microfibre duster which will pick up the dust rather than moving it around, and use a HEPA filter on your vacuum cleaner so it doesn't puff out more dust than it picks up.

Mould loves damp and humid places, so check around windows, sinks and baths for signs of black or orange mould and look behind large pieces of furniture like wardrobes if they are sat against an outside wall.
